An overdose on Valium causes shallow breathing, clammy skin, weak pulse, and possible coma or death. Higher doses of the medication are also more risky. In general, it is dangerous for more than 5 mg of Valium to enter the bloodstream in one minute, so only very small amounts are safe to take this way, and even then, there’s still the risk of accidental overdose.
